PR
& Marketing: Public Relations
That
old IPR definition about "successful communications between
an organisation and its publics" still holds true and perhaps
B2C and C2C consultants have become better at achieving
that. But in B2B, particularly in technology, there's often
a big gulf between objectives and reality, with differentiation
coming only from being better at the gin and tonics!
At
GGH we believe in understanding those objectives first and
then using creativity and talent to meet them using the
most appropriate media and methods. Often this involves
issuing press releases and meeting with editors, but planning
and professional execution are always more important, and
branding is one of the key issues often overlooked.
We
can be as good with the G'n'Ts as anyone, but we believe
inspiration and perspiration are more essential ingredients.
We believe that however modest the budget we are the guardians
and promoters of a client's image, brand and objectives.
Managing these elements to change or re-align public perceptions
is a primary target; creating the right climate for new
business may be just as important.
Our
stocks in trade cover product promotion to strategic campaigns.
GGH staff members have managed Trade Associations, acted
as International PR Director for PROFIBUS International
and developed industry-specific Web resources, all of which
have had influenced the global adoption and standardization
of products and key technologies for clients large and small.
Recognize
these? Each includes a large GGH contribution; all have
influenced their industry sectors; many still are! Now,
what was that definition again .?
